Head: New Products and Services

Tim heads up Discover Digitals new products and services. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating new products and services opportunities, taking them from conceptualization to market and putting in place and incubating the operating business. In addition, Tim is responsible for seeking out new business through identifying possible opportunities to acquire companies in line with Discover Digitals strategy. Tim also oversees the general management of EFX Productions, the groups technical services, live streaming and specialist consulting business to the broadcast industry.

Tim has extensive business, commercial and sports management experience. He started at Discover Digital over four years ago heading up sports content in the video services and OTT business unit. During this time, he managed Discover Digitals acquisition of EFX Productions and oversaw the transition of EFX into the Discover Digital business. He was general manager of the South African National Superbike Championship, led the events department at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and headed up the commercial services and team franchise business units at A1 Grand Prix. Tim holds a Diploma in Sports Management and graduated from Unisa with a Bachelor of Accounting degree. He completed his accounting training and articles at PwC, which provided him with a solid foundation for future growth in his business career.
